Nail Salon Hygiene
Our Hygiene Standards
Precision nail services begin with a clean, organized workspace and careful attention to every step of the appointment. At ByKris Beauty Lab, our approach emphasizes professional nail-care technique, thoughtful preparation and respect for the condition of your natural nails and skin.
Visit Downtown Plano or Addison / North Dallas. Both studios offer appointments from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, subject to artist availability. Sunday openings depend on each nail artist’s schedule at the selected location.
Careful Manicure Preparation
Our dry Russian Manicure focuses on detailed cuticle work and careful nail-plate preparation. Nail artists assess the natural nail and select an appropriate technique and overlay. We work with hard gel and builder gel for hand overlays and do not offer acrylic, dip powder, Gel-X or polygel manicures.
Thoughtful Foot Care
Our Smart dry pedicure uses a waterless technique for toenail and heel care. We select the procedure based on each client’s foot-care needs and offer gel polish, regular polish or no polish.
Instrument Sterilization at Our Two Locations

Our Downtown Plano studio uses an autoclave for instrument sterilization. Our Addison / North Dallas studio uses a dry-heat sterilizer (dry heat oven). At our Downtown Plano location, instruments are processed in an autoclave using sterilization pouches. At our Addison / North Dallas location, instruments are processed in a dry-heat sterilizer using kraft sterilization bags. Both locations use single-use nail files for each client. Each location uses its own sterilization equipment as part of our nail-care hygiene practices.
If you would like more details about instrument processing at your chosen location, please contact our team before your visit.
Tools, Workstations and Sanitation
Clean work areas, careful handling of tools and appropriate sanitation practices are essential to professional nail services. If you have questions about a specific product, instrument-processing procedure or service suitability, please contact the studio before booking so our team can clarify the process.
Natural Nail Health and Maintenance
We aim to support well-maintained natural nails through appropriate product selection and regular appointments. We generally recommend manicures every 3–4 weeks and pedicures every 5–6 weeks. If a nail or surrounding skin appears irritated or injured, a nail artist may recommend postponing cosmetic treatment.
